Quality Assurance and Program Integrity

To preserve the integrity of the DUPR Coach Program and maintain consistent rating standards, DUPR Coach may conduct periodic quality assurance reviews of Coach-Assigned DUPRs.

As part of this process, a player associated with a DUPR Coach may be randomly selected for rating validation. You and your player(s) will be notified via email if selected. The player's Coach-Assigned DUPR will temporarily be set to NR (Not Rated) while the review is completed. Selection is random and not punitive.

To complete validation, the player will be asked to upload or send match footage for evaluation by two Master DUPR Coaches to ensure alignment with DUPR Coach standards and the rating process. Complimentary access for film upload will be provided. Following review, the Coach-Assigned DUPR will either be reinstated or adjusted as needed. If adjustments are made, DUPR Coach will schedule a call with the player’s coach to review the scoring of the eight key game areas and ensure alignment.

These reviews are a standard part of the program and may occur at any time. All DUPR Coaches and players participating in Coach-Assigned DUPRs are subject to this process. Because of the competitive impact of higher ratings, reviews most commonly apply to Coach-Assigned DUPRs of 4.0 and above.

DUPR Coach supports and trusts our coaches and their ratings. These reviews exist to protect coaches, strengthen the program, and ensure long-term credibility and value for everyone involved.

Why This Matters

Coach-Assigned DUPRs are designed to help players get on the right courts quickly and confidently. Periodic reviews help ensure ratings remain accurate, credible, and aligned across regions, while protecting both players and coaches and maintaining trust in the DUPR ecosystem and DUPR Coach program.

Player Checkpoints and Compliance

As part of Quality Assurance and Program Integrity reviews, DUPR Coach may conduct periodic player checkpoints to ensure community guidelines are being upheld and that only non-rated players on your coaching team receive Coach-Assigned DUPRs. While confirming a player’s non-rated status in the DUPR app is usually quick, we know players can be creative.

This process helps ensure DUPR and DUPR Coach policies are being followed. If a player is found to have multiple DUPR accounts (both an established DUPR and a Coach-Assigned DUPR), their Coach-Assigned DUPR will be reset to NR, and the player will be referred to the DUPR Fair Player Committee to merge accounts and, if necessary, suspend the player. If multiple players on your team are found with multiple accounts, the above actions still apply, and DUPR Coach leadership may review your session procedures to ensure proper disclosures and due diligence in checking the DUPR app before rating players.

We understand your role is not to police players, but your assistance in maintaining fair play strengthens the program for everyone. In cases where multiple players on your team have multiple DUPR accounts, your DUPR Coach access may be temporarily suspended while DUPR Coach and DUPR conduct an investigation. Depending on the results, your access will be restored or revoked in cases of consistent fraudulent behavior.
